Under the Tobacco Act 1987, smoking is unlawful within these areas and could result in an infringement penalty of $161.19.

This policy applies to all members, administrators, officials, coaches, players and visitors of the club.

All Park Orchards North Ringwood Parish Junior Football Club (PONRPJFC) Club facilities are to be completely smoke free at all times. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Club and social rooms
  • Administration and office areas
  • Changing rooms
  • Toilet blocks
  • Indoor spectator viewing areas
  • Playing areas
  • Eating areas
  • Grandstands and spectator viewing areas
  • Near entries and exits of buildings, facilities, and the ground
Smoking has been banned where children play to protect everyone, especially children and young people, from the dangers of second-hand smoke.
There is no safe level of exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke.
