Women's Netball

In 2010, Frankston Bombers put their first netball teams into the MPNFL Netball competition, and would be known as the ‘Bombshells’.
2011 – The Bombshells saw their first success as they won the B grade premiership.
2012 – The premiership success was backed up as b grade went back-to-back premiers and C grade also took out the premiership.
2013 – A year of growth for the club with over 35 girls registered.
2014 – The biggest year for the club with a 4th team, C Reserve, entered to play at FDNA who took out Senior B grade premiership.
2015 – The year of the “Bomber Block” which famously received wide spread media coverage.
2016 – B grade falling one game short of the big dance.
2017 – Bombshells continue to be a strength of the MPNFL, with huge numbers and the first year for D-grade in the league competition. We saw 3 out of 4 teams in finals and D grade making the big dance but just falling short of the win.

Welcome to season 2018, where the rules have changed…but the girls haven’t. A new year at bomberland this season with lots of old and new faces! We are excited to announce our coaching squad for the season – welcome Cathlova, Bevo, Coach Cam and Goose.

Coming off the back of a successful year last year (3/4 teams in finals), we are striving for great success and taking netball to the next level.
Moving into Division 1 this year, we aim to develop our squad into bigger and better things, really challenging our teams strengths and putting up a real test. We are aiming to grow as one unit, becoming a force to be reckoned with, as well as emphasizing one big family along with the rest of the club.

We welcome you to get behind us and watch us on this journey.
Great things are to come….
Go Netball!
